In the month of March 2018, the TKC (The Karakorum Club) started a prize theme and asked people to share their stories that go decades back into the history of traveling and exploring. Those were all good stories, the stories which should not be limited to the theme. The purpose of sharing these some of the stories which all liked to remember for a long time. The fort is believed to be built in 11th century by Gakhars in Potohar region far from the easily accessible paths, lying in oblivion and mourning its glorious past. The fort is built over the high ridges and protected by deep slopes. Now, its walls have disappeared from many places, but the grand beauty of the fort can be seen from some of the remaining doors.

We went out of Bahawalpur to explore the historical sights which surrounds the city of Bahawalpur. Derawar Fort, Dera Nawab sahib, Panjnad and Uch sharif were some of the historical sight we visited.
Bahawalpur is one of the major cities in Punjab. It is the 13th most populous city of Pakistan. Bahawalpur has royal history, and it is now developed as a metropolitan city. As this city has been home to most of the kings and nawabs, it is a vital attraction for tourists and history lovers. The Palaces built by these kings are major tourist attraction.
The mosque is said to date from 1659 - 1668-69 and is also known as the Chinianwali Masjid because of the extraordinary mosaic tile work (Kashi Kari) for which the reign of Shah Jahan was famous. It was completed during Aurangzeb's reign.
A number of historical sites dot Lahore, a city which has been inhabited for hundred of years. The old walled city of Lahore, has some wonderful Muslim, Hindu and Sikh architecture of historic significance, besides the 'havelis' built by the Dhyan Singh family. They once ruled Kashmir and migrated to India in the turmoil of 1947. "Haveli of Asif Jah" is among one of those havelis. It has seen many dynasties and suffered hardship of time, and now it’s serving as a Women's College in Chuna Mandi.
Riding early morning is best experience one could expect on Sunday. A group of nine individuals set out to explore city of Sharqpur also known as city of saints. During their visit, they passed through villages, gets a boat ride across Ravi River and enjoy amazing foods of Shaqpur. Lets find out how things went when they all get together.
